The Second World War ended a year ago. It’s two years before Israeli independence. A beautiful young Jewish woman visits the King David Hotel to dance the tango. There she meets a British officer who falls under her spell.

Enter a tangled world of love and conflicting loyalties in a country fraught with the complex issues that heralded the end of the British colonial presence in the Middle East.
